What we collect
When you create a Loopkeep account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use the app, we store the household, item, and service-log data you and your household members enter: item names, categories, service dates, notes, and any photos you attach to an item or a service record.
If you enable push notifications, we store a device token so we can send you reminders. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Apple App Store or Google Play, via RevenueCat) shares your subscription status and entitlement with us so the app can unlock the features you paid for — we never see your card number or other payment details directly. If the app crashes or hits an error, diagnostic information (a stack trace and basic device information) is sent to our error-monitoring provider, Sentry, so we can fix it.
Why we collect it
We use this data to operate the app: to show your household its maintenance history, to send reminders, to verify your subscription, and to diagnose and fix bugs. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the app, each of which processes a limited slice of your data on our behalf: Supabase (account data, household data, photo storage, and push-notification device tokens), Firebase (push notification delivery), RevenueCat (subscription status), and Sentry (crash and error reports). None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account in the app, it enters a 14-day grace period during which signing back in cancels the deletion; after that period, your account and the household data associated with it (except data other household members still depend on, which is retained for them) is permanently deleted.
Your rights
You can review and correct your household data at any time directly in the app. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which starts the deletion process described above.
Children's privacy
Loopkeep is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
